Using punctuation to clarify name structure

Modified on Fri, 24 Apr at 3:27 PM

When a worker has multiple names and it's unclear which is the surname and which is the middle name, Oho cannot interpret the name structure automatically. Use the Full Name field with specific punctuation to tell the system how to read the name:

  • Use "quotation marks" around the surname
  • Use [square brackets] around the middle name(s)

Example: A worker with four names, Jose, Aldemar, Ochoa, Quiceno. Depending on the correct combination, the Full Name field might be entered as:

  • Jose [Aldemar Ochoa] "Quiceno"
  • Jose [Aldemar] "Ochoa Quiceno"

Confirm the correct surname and middle name(s) with the worker before entering.
