When you view the PC Tracking section, checks appear in one of the following statuses:
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Check Initiated | An email has been sent to the person and they have not yet started their application |
| Application In Progress | The applicant has begun their application but has not yet completed all required steps |
| Review and Approve | The applicant has completed all steps and uploaded their ID, but has not yet consented to the check (the final step) |
| Flagged / Check Flagged / Held Check | The check requires verification via a report from the relevant jurisdiction. This does not necessarily indicate a criminal record |
| Pending Acknowledgement | The check needs to be manually approved by an administrator in the tracking section |
| Auto Suitable | The check returned no Disclosable Court Outcome and your organisation has configured checks like this to be accepted automatically |
| Suitable | The check has been reviewed and accepted |
Flagged does not mean the person has a criminal record. It means the check has been referred for further review by the jurisdiction. Don't draw conclusions from a flagged status until the check is fully resolved.
If a check has been stuck in "Application In Progress" or "Review and Approve" for an extended period, you can re-send the request from the PC Tracking page.
