NSW WWCC not found despite correct details

Modified on Fri, 24 Apr at 3:26 PM

If a NSW WWCC returns as Not Found even though the number, date of birth, and name appear correct:

  • Check the NSW WWC number format. The Accreditation Number format is WWC followed by 7 digits, then a single letter (E for employee or V for volunteer). Example: WWC7654321V. A number missing the E or V suffix, or one digit short, will be treated as invalid
  • Confirm whether the number is an Application Number (APP) or an Accreditation Number (WWC). The field type in Oho must match what's on the card
  • Double-check that the name in Oho matches the NSW WWCC card exactly, including any middle names or compound surnames
  • Manually check the NSW government portal with the same details. If the portal also returns Not Found, ask the worker to confirm their details directly with the Office of the Children's Guardian
