Adding a person manually

You can add a person to Oho in two parts.

Part 1 — Core person information

  1. Go to People in the left-hand menu
  2. Click Add
  3. Enter the full name (mandatory), and optionally email, mobile, and custom tags
  4. Toggle the person to Active
  5. Click Save

Oho will automatically assign relevant smart tags (for example "email - given" or "email - blank") based on the information you entered.

Part 2 — Add accreditations

After saving, click the person's record, go to the Accreditations tab, click + to add an active accreditation, select the accreditation type, enter the card or registration number and expiry date (where required), click Add Accreditation, then Close (or + to add more).

Important: Oho does not merge person records. To avoid creating duplicates, populate supporting information like date of birth, email, phone, or external ID whenever possible.
