Processing NDWS sync files (QSC Portal Export)

Oho can take a "My Workers" export from the Quality and Safeguarding Commission (QSC) Portal and either update existing records or add new ones.

Settings first (Settings > Provider Settings > Nationwide):

• Update — looks at existing records and updates their status and expiry. Does not add new records
• Sync — does everything Update does, and also adds new records from the export file that do not already exist in Oho

Use Sync with care. It assumes the QSC Portal is the source of truth for who is in your organisation. Remove people who have left from the QSC Portal before syncing, or they will be re-added.

Steps:

1. Configure Update and Sync toggles as needed
2. Log in to the QSC Portal and take a "My Workers" export
3. Change the export format to CSV before downloading
4. In Oho, go to People and click the NDWS Sync button
5. Drag the file or click to select it and load it
6. Files with more than 500 lines process in the background
