Why is an accreditation showing as invalid?

Modified on Fri, 24 Apr at 3:26 PM

An accreditation may be flagged as invalid for several reasons:

  1. The details could not be verified with the registry provider (marked red or invalid)
  2. The accreditation has expired (also marked expired)
  3. The name on the accreditation does not sufficiently match the name in Oho (marked invalid_name)

Other statuses to be aware of:

  • Pending load — the accreditation is being processed. Common for NSW, SA, NT, TAS and NDWS types
  • Review required — the register confirmed Not Found (for NSW, TAS, NT, and SA WWC checks). The data in Oho needs to be corrected before another check can be triggered

If an accreditation won't validate, the most common fix is a name mismatch. Confirm the full name matches the card exactly, consult the name hinting guide if needed, save the profile, then re-add the accreditation.
