A deactivated person keeps reactivating — what to do

Modified on Fri, 24 Apr at 3:26 PM

If a person you've deactivated keeps coming back as active, the cause is usually an accreditation that is still linked to your organisation at the state portal. This most commonly happens with South Australian Working with Children Checks, Queensland Blue Cards, and NDIS Worker Screening.

To prevent reactivation:

  1. Deactivate the person in Oho
  2. Deactivate or remove all their accreditations from their Oho profile
  3. Unlink or deregister them at the relevant state portal:
  4. South Australia WWCC: log in to the DHS Screening Unit Organisation Portal, go to Search my ROI or My Workers, select the person, and choose Remove or Deregister
  5. Queensland Blue Card: unlink the person in the Queensland Blue portal using your QDI account
  6. NDWS: unlink in Proda

Until the state portal linkage is removed, Oho will continue to see the person as current at each verification cycle and may reactivate them.
